The Lamson Purist Fly Rod gives technical fly anglers the touch and control needed for precise trout presentations with light tippet, small dries, nymphs, and other finesse approaches. Its soft tip cushions fine tippet during hooksets and sudden runs from wary rainbow, brown, and brook trout, while the stable mid-section maintains accurate tracking through the cast. A solid butt section stores and releases energy with controlled power, helping anglers turn over longer leaders and manage fish in current without sacrificing feel. The Lockdown reel seat secures a wide range of reels along machined aluminum rails, and the included Cordura rod case uses internal dividers to keep each rod section protected during travel and storage.
