The Hardy Tactus Dry Fly Rod gives dedicated trout anglers the finesse to place tiny dry flies with confidence when selective fish feed in slow pools, spring creeks, tailwaters, and technical rivers. Sintrix FLT construction creates an exceptionally light, responsive rod, while refined tapers and fast-recovering blanks maintain tight loops, accurate casts, and delicate presentations with long leaders and fine tippets. The result is greater control when matching hatches and delivering drag-free drifts to rising trout that refuse anything less than a perfect presentation.

The 9-foot, 2-inch models balance reach, mending control, and pinpoint accuracy across a wide range of dry fly situations, while the 9-foot, 9-inch models extend line control for longer drifts and seamlessly cross into tightline nymphing when conditions call for it. Ceramic-lined titanium stripper guides, titanium recoil snake guides, a lightweight custom reel seat, and aluminum ferrule plugs complement the premium blank, and the four-piece construction packs securely into the included Hardy rod tube for travel to your next destination fishery.
