The Hardy Tactus Nymphing Fly Rod gives trout anglers the reach, sensitivity, and tippet protection needed to lead tightline nymph rigs through seams, pockets, riffles, and pressured tailwater runs. Its two-tip system lets anglers match the rod to the presentation, with a tubular carbon tip for heavier rigs and a solid nano-carbon tip for light flies, fine leaders, and subtle takes. Extended 10-foot-plus lengths maximize reach and drift control, while Sintrix FLT resin keeps the rod extremely light without giving up strength.

A high-recovery action supports precise casting and direct contact, while soft tips absorb shock when trout surge on small flies and fine tippet. The down-locking reel seat improves balance for long-rod applications, and the low stripping guide helps reduce line sag to maintain better connection through the drift. An unground blank surface helps keep monofilament leaders from sticking, while double-leg snake guides in the tip reduce leader wrap and increase stability. Each four-piece rod includes an extra tip and a hard travel tube for protection between trips.
