The Redington Grande Fly Reel steps in when big flies, hard runs, and serious backing capacity define the day, from stripping oversized streamers for trophy browns to chasing tailing bonefish and powerful kings. Fully CNC machined from anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, this heavyweight fly reel handles prolonged pressure and harsh environments while keeping weight and balance in check. A fully sealed Super-Torque carbon fiber drag delivers smooth, repeatable resistance in any condition, and the large arbor V-spool with backing canal arbor boosts capacity while helping manage line stacking during long fights.

Oversized details add control and durability where it counts, including a large palming rim for added drag input, a reinforced spool for rigidity, and an optimized reel foot position that centers mass on the rod to reduce twist. A rounded frame finish protects line and leader when stowed, while the enlarged soft-touch Delrin handle improves grip and comfort during extended battles. Across the size range, the Grande matches species and scenarios precisely, offering high-end performance at a more approachable price point.
