The Avet LX MC Raptor Plus Three-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers the flexibility to shift between high-speed retrieves, controlled mid-range power, and low-gear cranking torque while targeting tuna, swordfish, grouper, halibut, amberjack, and other hard-fighting saltwater species. This right-hand retrieve reel combines a three-speed drivetrain with Avet’s patented dual carbon fiber drag system, a ratcheting Glide Plate, and a strike stop button for precise drag control during deep drops, trolling passes, and extended fights.
Precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum, stainless steel components, and precision-machined stainless steel gears provide dependable strength under heavy load. The redesigned true one-piece frame improves strength-to-weight balance, while anodizing increases corrosion resistance and finish durability in harsh saltwater conditions. Inside, 9 ball bearings, Avedrag dry carbon fiber drags, and a redesigned silent dog and gear anti-reverse system keep the reel smooth and solid with reduced handle back-play during aggressive runs. A loud alarm clicker improves strike awareness, while the offset machined handle arm reduces cranking wobble and the large soft-touch handle knob adds comfort and grip during long battles offshore.
