The Avet JX MC Raptor Two-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives saltwater and Great Lakes anglers added line capacity, serious drag power, two-speed cranking control, and casting performance for live bait fishing, trolling, jigging, casting plugs, and bottom fishing for tuna, mahi, striped bass, grouper, snapper, salmon, lake trout, and other hard-fighting fish. The JX MC Raptor pairs precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum with stainless steel components, precision-machined stainless steel gears, and an anodized finish for corrosion resistance around spray, salt, and long boat days. Its re-designed true one-piece frame improves strength-to-weight performance while helping keep the reel rigid under heavy drag pressure.

Avet’s patented dual carbon fiber drag system and reliable Avedrag dry carbon fiber drags provide smooth stopping power and wear resistance during long fights. Two-speed gearing lets anglers switch from fast line pickup to low-gear torque when fish dig deep, and the powerful lever drag system with adjustable strike pre-set, ratcheting Glide Plate, and Strike Stop Button gives controlled drag adjustment on the water. Magic Cast uses an adjustable magnetic anti-backlash cast control system based on Lenz Law to help prevent line overrun and birds nests while casting live bait rigs, irons, and plugs. Avet’s patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse system reduces handle back-play, while the re-designed loud alarm clicker, offset machined handle arm, large soft-touch handle knob, and 9 shielded stainless steel ball bearings support smooth, steady retrieves.
