The Avet HXW MC Raptor Plus Three-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers the wide-frame line capacity, drag pressure, and casting control needed for tuna, wahoo, grouper, amberjack, halibut, and other hard-fighting saltwater fish. Its patented dual carbon fiber drag system applies smooth, consistent pressure during long offshore battles, while the lever drag with adjustable strike pre-set, ratcheting Glide Plate, and Strike Stop button help anglers stay in control when fish surge deep or make repeated runs near the boat.

The Avet HXW MC Raptor Plus 3-Speed Reel pairs a wide frame and spool design with precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminum, stainless steel components, and an anodized finish for strength and corrosion resistance in demanding offshore environments. The Magic Cast adjustable magnetic anti-backlash cast control system uses Lenz Law to help reduce line overrun and bird nests while casting live bait, iron jigs, and heavier offshore presentations. Three-speed gearing gives anglers fast line pickup, controlled mid-range retrieves, and powerful low-gear torque for lifting fish from depth. Precision-machined stainless steel gears, 8 ball bearings, and the patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse system reduce handle back-play for dependable hook-setting power. A re-designed true one-piece frame, loud alarm clicker, offset machined handle arm, and soft touch handle knob complete a reel ready for trolling, jigging, casting, and deep dropping.
