A 300-foot drop over a wreck can turn into a tug-of-war with grouper, amberjack, snapper, or tuna in seconds, and the Accurate Valiant 2 Jigging Two-Speed Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers the speed, leverage, and drag control to keep pressure on hard-fighting fish. Accurate machines the CVX frame from lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum to combine strength with reduced weight during long sessions of slow-pitch, speed, and vertical jigging. TwinDrag technology applies drag pressure to both sides of the spool, while the AccuStop calibrated drag lever gives anglers precise control as fish surge or dig toward deep structure.

The two-speed drivetrain lets anglers quickly retrieve line in high gear, then shift down for added cranking power when the rod is loaded. Accurate’s DirecShift InstaGage System delivers unmatched smoothness and responsiveness during gear changes, while the stainless-steel anti-reverse bearing limits backplay under pressure. Precision-cut 17-4 stainless-steel gears and gear shaft transfer power through the drivetrain, and the extended handle arm with a power knob adds torque and control for turning fish away from reefs and wrecks. A sleeved spool promotes free-spool performance and castability, while seven ABEC-5-rated stainless-steel bearings keep operation smooth from the initial drop through the fight.
