The Accurate Valiant 2 Jigging Conventional Reel keeps the setup light through a day of dropping jigs for tuna, amberjack, grouper, and snapper, then brings the drag control and cranking leverage when a fish loads the rod. Its 6:1 gear ratio picks up line quickly for slow-pitch, speed-jigging, and traditional vertical presentations, while patented TwinDrag technology applies smooth, balanced pressure during hard runs. The AccuStop calibrated drag lets anglers make controlled adjustments throughout the fight, and a sleeved spool promotes free-spool performance and extreme castability when presentations call for sending a jig away from the boat.

Accurate machines the reel from lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and incorporates CVX technology to shed unnecessary material while retaining strength for demanding offshore use. The DirecShift InstaGage System delivers smooth, responsive engagement, while precision-cut stainless steel gears transfer cranking power when fish dig toward reefs, wrecks, or deep structure. An extended handle arm and power knob increase torque and control under load, and seven ABEC-5 rated stainless steel bearings keep operation smooth through repeated drops, retrieves, and fights.
