The Accurate Tern2 Jigging Conventional Reel gives anglers the speed and cranking leverage to stay in control when deep drops over reefs, wrecks, and offshore structure turn into battles with tuna, amberjack, grouper, or snapper. Its 6:1 gear ratio picks up line quickly for speed jigging and vertical presentations, while TwinStarDrag technology applies balanced pressure to both sides of the main gear for smooth, consistent drag performance. Accurate’s direct-engage lever provides quick control when a fish commits, and adjustable spool tension lets anglers fine-tune the reel for different jig weights and drop conditions.

Accurate machines the reel from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and uses CVX technology to remove excess material while retaining the strength needed for demanding saltwater fishing. The Main Gear Bearing Support reduces friction between the gear and shaft, promoting smooth operation and added torque under load, while stainless steel gears provide the cranking power to pull hard-running fish away from structure. An extended handle arm and power knob increase leverage and control during heavy fights, and six ABEC-5 bearings keep the drivetrain running smoothly through repeated drops and retrieves.
