The Avet HXW Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers the wide-frame line capacity, smooth drag pressure, and steady single-speed cranking power needed for tuna, wahoo, grouper, amberjack, halibut, and deep-water bottom fishing. Its powerful Avedrag dry carbon fiber drag system provides stopping power, smoothness, and wear resistance, while the lever drag with adjustable strike pre-set, ratcheting Glide Plate, and Strike Stop button helps anglers manage heavy fish under load during long offshore fights.

The Avet HXW Single Speed Reel pairs a wide frame and spool design with precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminum, stainless steel components, and an anodized finish for strength and corrosion resistance in saltwater environments. A re-designed true one-piece frame improves strength versus weight, while precision-machined stainless steel gears, 8 ball bearings, and the patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse system help reduce handle back-play. The loud alarm clicker, offset machined handle arm, and soft touch handle knob add control and comfort during trolling, live bait fishing, jigging, and deep drops.
