The Avet HXJ MC Raptor Three-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives saltwater anglers a narrow, American-made reel with three retrieve speeds and adjustable cast control for jigging, live baiting, and fighting powerful offshore fish. Its patented 3-speed transmission lets anglers shift from a fast retrieve for vertical jigs, to a mid-speed gear for steady pressure, to a low gear with heavy cranking leverage for tuna, amberjack, grouper, tilefish, and other deep-water bottom fish. The Magic Cast Control System uses adjustable magnetic anti-backlash control to help reduce line overrun and bird nests while improving spool control during casting, bait drops, and live bait presentations.

The Raptor dual-disc carbon fiber drag system delivers twice the drag output of Avet’s standard series reels while maintaining smooth, controlled drag pressure throughout the fight. Raptor Plus ergonomic upgrades include a rounded side plate, refined frame shape, and reshaped crossbar that improve comfort and spool access when thumbing line during freespool.
