The Avet HX MC Raptor Plus Three-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers the drag pressure, casting control, and cranking power needed for tuna, wahoo, grouper, amberjack, halibut, and other hard-fighting saltwater fish. Its powerful Avedrag dry carbon fiber drag system applies smooth, consistent pressure during long runs and heavy vertical fights, while the adjustable strike pre-set, ratcheting Glide Plate, and Strike Stop button help anglers stay in control when fish change direction or surge near the boat.

The Avet HX MC Raptor Plus 3-Speed Reel pairs a re-designed true one-piece frame with precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminum, stainless steel components, and an anodized finish for strength and corrosion resistance in offshore conditions. The Magic Cast adjustable magnetic anti-backlash cast control system uses Lenz Law to help reduce line overrun and bird nests while casting live bait, iron jigs, and heavier presentations. Three-speed gearing, precision-machined stainless steel gears, and 9 ball bearings provide smooth transitions from fast retrieves to low-gear torque, while the patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse system reduces handle back-play for dependable hook-setting power. An offset machined handle arm, loud alarm clicker, soft touch handle knob, and left- or right-hand retrieve options complete the package.
