The Shimano Torium Jigging Special Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers a compact, high-rigidity reel for working metal jigs deep when amberjack, tuna, grouper, and snapper stay tight to structure and pull hard at the boat. The HAGANE Body brings the solid feel many jig anglers want under heavy load, and its rigid metal construction helps eliminate flex to maximize cranking power during hard lifts and short-pump fights. The S-Compact Body keeps the reel more comfortable in hand through long days of vertical jigging, while Cross Carbon Drag provides a wider range of drag settings for better control as fish surge, stall, and circle below. Shielded S A-RB bearings help protect bearing rotation from salt and spray, and the 3BB + 1RB bearing system rounds out a dependable package for anglers who want strong jigging performance in a compact conventional reel.
