The Lamson Guru Fly Rod gives fly anglers a smooth, versatile medium-fast action for presenting dries and nymphs to trout, working streamers for bass, and handling larger steelhead or salmon with heavier line weights. Its 9-foot, four-piece configuration travels easily while maintaining a familiar all-around length for river, stream, and lake fishing. The 4-, 5-, and 6-weight models feature a modified Ritz grip profile for comfortable casting and line control, while the 7- and 8-weight rods add a full-wells grip and fighting butt for extra leverage against stronger fish. A Lockdown reel seat secures the reel, complemented by a storm grey anodized aluminum insert. The SiC insert stripper guide manages fly line through repeated casts, while a satin dark pearl finish with storm grey accents gives the rod a subdued appearance. Each rod includes a sturdy Cordura case with internal dividers to separate and protect the sections during transport.
