The G. Loomis IMX-PRO V2 Shortspey Fly Rod gives trout spey anglers the reach, touch, and compact casting power needed to swing soft hackles, streamers, and subsurface patterns through productive seams, tailouts, and brush-lined runs. Trout spey has moved well beyond a niche tactic, and this second-generation IMX-PRO Shortspey rod helps anglers cover water efficiently when tight banks, low overhead canopies, and long river swings make traditional casting less effective. Progressive flex patterns, medium-fast spey actions, and pumped power levels help these 4-piece G. Loomis trout rods jack casts with the confident feel of a bigger two-hander while keeping presentations light and controlled.

A blend of Conduit Core and GL7 resin system technology enhances positive feel, lowers swing weight, and improves subtle subsurface bite detection, giving anglers better feedback when trout nip, pluck, or commit on the swing. Finished with chrome single-foot guides, chrome stripper guides, premium-grade cork top and bottom grips, a custom aluminum reel seat, and an included tube and cloth rod bag, the IMX-PRO V2 Shortspey Fly Rod brings everyday durability and refined performance to modern trout spey fishing.
