Gain confident footing in fast current and uneven riverbeds with the Fishpond Grass Sticks Wading Staff, a 53 1/8-inch fixed-length bamboo staff handcrafted in Steamboat Springs, Colorado from sustainably harvested material that offers exceptional strength-to-weight performance for anglers hiking into trout creeks, steelhead runs, and freestone rivers. Dual grip zones give you steady control when you brace for a crossing or pick your way across slick boulders, while the webbing wrist strap keeps the staff secure when you’re working a fish into the net. A carbide tip provides long-term bite on gravel and rock, the removable rubber tip improves traction on hard surfaces, and the flexible construction resists kinking through seasons of wading. The staff also pairs with the Fishpond Confluence Net Release for anglers who keep their landing net ready at their hip.
