Deploying an Orvis Wading Staff when entering moving water, walking through stiff currents, or on slippery rocks offers clear-cut stability. The Orvis Wading Staff is a highly efficient safety stick that is fully adjustable, with a height range of 115 cm to 135 cm, and features Powerlock 3.0 hardware that allows you to customize the height with a robust locking mechanism. The non-slip, omni-directional EVA foam on the top of the staff provides a secure grip, while the durable carbide flex tip with an optional silent approach rubber cap on the bottom lets you choose between digging in or keeping quiet. The staff comes with a wrist strap and retractor, ensuring it won't float away, and it folds down to 41 cm and stores in an easy-access neoprene sheath that slides into your wading belt. The staff is incredibly lightweight, weighing only 9.4 oz. The Orvis Wading Staff allows for safer wading to your casting position, and its single-hand withdrawal and self-assembling action lets you keep your rod in hand if you need to follow a fish on the run.
