The Avet LX Raptor Plus Two-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore and Great Lakes anglers serious drag strength, quick line recovery, and low-gear cranking power for tuna, grouper, halibut, striped bass, salmon, and lake trout. Available in right- or left-hand retrieve, this Raptor Plus model adds Avet’s patented dual carbon fiber drag system, a ratcheting Glide Plate, and a strike stop button for controlled drag adjustments when big fish pull hard, dive deep, or surge beside the boat.
Precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum, stainless steel components, and precision-machined stainless steel gears give the LX Raptor Plus dependable strength for demanding saltwater and freshwater fishing. The redesigned true one-piece frame improves strength-to-weight balance, while anodizing adds corrosion resistance and a clean finish. Inside, 9 ball bearings, Avedrag dry carbon fiber drags, a redesigned silent dog and gear anti-reverse system, and a loud alarm clicker keep the reel smooth, solid, and responsive under pressure. An offset machined handle arm reduces cranking wobble, and the large soft-touch handle knob adds comfort during long fights.
