The Avet LX MC Raptor Two-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore and Great Lakes anglers extra drag power, fast line pickup, low-gear cranking torque, and added casting control for tuna, striped bass, salmon, halibut, grouper, and lake trout. Available in left- or right-hand retrieve, this Raptor model includes a standard Glide Plate, ratcheting drag control, and strike stop button for precise drag adjustments when fish surge, dive, or change direction near the boat.

Precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum, stainless steel components, and precision-machined stainless steel gears provide dependable strength for demanding saltwater and freshwater use. The Magic Cast adjustable magnetic anti-backlash cast control system uses Lenz Law to reduce line overrun and bird's nests while casting, improving control with heavy baits and changing wind conditions. Avet’s patented dual carbon fiber drag system and reliable Avedrag dry carbon fiber drags deliver smooth stopping power and wear resistance under heavy load. A redesigned true one-piece frame improves strength-to-weight balance, while anodizing increases corrosion resistance and finish durability. Inside, 9 ball bearings, a redesigned silent dog and gear anti-reverse system, and a loud alarm clicker keep the reel smooth and responsive. An offset machined handle arm reduces cranking wobble, while the large soft-touch handle knob adds comfort during long fights.
