The Avet HX Raptor Two-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers increased drag pressure, high-strength gearing, and smooth two-speed performance for tuna, yellowtail, amberjack, grouper, shark, and heavy live bait or jigging applications. Its Dual Carbon Fiber Drag System delivers powerful stopping strength with smooth pressure and wear resistance, while the adjustable strike pre-set, ratcheting Glide Plate, and strike stop button give anglers controlled drag settings during long runs and deep battles.

Precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum and stainless steel components keep the HX Raptor strong without excess weight, and the redesigned true one-piece frame adds rigidity for demanding saltwater use. Precision-machined stainless steel two-speed gearing and Avet’s quick shift mechanism allow fast changes between high-speed retrieve and added cranking power under load. A 9-ball-bearing system, left- or right-hand retrieve options, and Avet’s patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse system help reduce handle back-play during hard fights. A loud alarm clicker, offset machined handle arm, comfortable soft-touch handle knob, and corrosion-resistant anodized finish complete this heavy-duty offshore reel.
