While weak clips that slip or release too easily can ruin a perfect trolling setup, the Alphaboardz A2Z HD Release Clips (4 pk) deliver superior holding power. Its oversized jaw increases surface retention, keeping your line locked in place. These planer board clips feature a heavy-duty, adjustable stainless-steel spring that ensures a secure grip on various line types and diameters, preventing false releases in rough water. An offset retention pin lets you position your line in front of or behind the pin, depending on whether you want an automatic release or a secure hold. Its oversized head and offset pin enhance versatility, making it perfect for trolling with suspended baits or dragging through dense structures. Additionally, a lockable arm provides added stability. The A2Z Heavy-Duty Release locks onto your line with a secure grip, preventing false releases while trolling for walleye, salmon, and other game fish.
