Pautzke BorX O' Fire Cure is one of Pautzke's oldest egg-curing recipes. Most effective for curing salmon & steelhead eggs, BorX O' Fire combines our world-renowned knowledge in egg science with a multi colored lineup and our newest secret seasonings found in our revolutionary Krill formula. BorX O' Fire is the perfect complement to Pautzke Fire Cure and perhaps the most effective formula ever developed for steelhead. It starts out with a tried-and-true, old-school foundation of borax, which has long been a key component for Dad Pautzke's favorite egg cures. The borax base allows it to meld perfectly with wet or dry brines, and it lets the angler skip a step by combining the basic curing agents with borax in one easy-to-use bottle.
