The Shimano Poison Glorious Casting Rod gives serious bass anglers the sensitivity, strength, and precision needed for jigs, Texas rigs, jerkbaits, crankbaits, frogs, swimbaits, and other technique-specific presentations. Spiral X Core construction combines a proprietary three-layer carbon structure with Hi-Power X outer reinforcement to increase blank strength, reduce weight, and minimize twist, helping anglers make accurate casts, drive solid hooksets, and maintain control around heavy cover.

FusionGrip Technology pairs a thin cork layer with a Carbon Monocoque core to transmit vibration directly into your hand, making subtle bottom changes and light bites easier to detect. A lightweight CI4+ reel seat enhances sensitivity while reducing overall weight, Shimano X Guide technology improves casting performance with a lighter, stronger, and more tangle-resistant guide system, and full or split cork grips provide lasting comfort for long days on the water.
