The Shimano Poison Glorious Spinning Rod gives serious bass anglers a high-sensitivity one-piece spinning rod for finesse tactics like drop shotting, shaky heads, Ned rigs, light swimbaits, and small soft plastics around rock, grass edges, docks, and pressured smallmouth or largemouth. FusionGrip Technology combines a thin cork layer with a carbon monocoque core for a crisp in-hand feel, while the CI4+ reel seat uses a lightweight, ultra-rigid carbon interfusion design to increase sensitivity and cut weight. Spiral X Core adds a three-layer carbon tape structure to boost strength and minimize blank twist, Hi-Power X reinforces the outer blank with diagonally wrapped carbon tape, and Shimano X-Guide components reduce weight, add strength, and improve tangle resistance.
