When you're chasing stripers in Chesapeake Bay or targeting big walleye on the Great Lakes, the Shimano Exsence B spinning reel delivers the torque, precision, and durability you demand. Its Infinity Drive system drastically reduces start-up resistance so that each hand-turn feels light yet powerful under load. The InfinityXross gearing spreads stress across the gear teeth to resist damage in salt-mist or tough freshwater use—keeping you in the fight when bass, pike, or bluefish test your gear. With InfinityLoop spool oscillation, the line winds evenly and leaves the spool smoothly for longer casts and better control using light jigs or soft plastics. The Anti-Twist Fin combats line sag and uneven wraps, preventing slack loops that spook wary tarpon or gar fish. Smooth-feeling DuraCross drag washers deliver dependable drag without jerks or sudden line breaks when battling steelhead or stripers, and the Rapid Fire Drag knob lets you make split-second drag adjustments mid-fight. Built with an 11 ball-bearing + 1 roller-bearing system, this reel gives you the refined, rock-solid performance that serious salt- or freshwater anglers expect.
