The Okuma Cedros Spinning Reel gives saltwater anglers the drag control, corrosion resistance, and cranking power needed for jigging, casting plugs, working topwaters, and fishing live bait for tuna, striped bass, redfish, cobia, tarpon, snook, and other hard-fighting saltwater species. Its DFD Precision Dual Force Drag system combines multi-disc Carbonite and felt drag washers to deliver smooth, consistent pressure throughout the fight, while the precision click drag adjustment lets anglers make fine, repeatable changes as conditions and fish behavior change. A rigid Mag/Aluminum alloy body and side construction resists flex under heavy loads, and the CRC corrosion-resistant coating helps protect the reel in harsh saltwater environments.

Inside, HDGII corrosion-resistant high-density gearing and a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear provide efficient power transfer and dependable durability. The 6HPB + 1RB corrosion-resistant stainless steel bearing system keeps the retrieve smooth, while the dual anti-reverse system combines Quick-Set and a mechanical ratchet for solid hooksets. A Hydro Block watertight drag seal helps protect the drag from water intrusion, and the manual bail trip improves reliability during repeated casts. The machined two-tone anodized aluminum spool and screw-in aluminum handle complete a strong, dependable platform for demanding inshore and offshore fishing.
