SemperFli SemperSeal Subs is a substitute for seal fur, a favorite fly tying material used for wets and nymphs. As the legal position of seal fur in many countries makes it difficult to source and travel with, SemperFli's R&D team worked with the company's fly tying pro team to develop the most realistic synthetic seal fur collection that replicates the stunning translucence of baby seal fur.

SemperSeal Subs dubbing seal fur is fantastic for creating realistic fly patterns and the perfect feel for your dubbing. The collection includes the natural colors found in rivers and lakes and is great for creating shaggy bodies or dubbing balls on soft hackles. Unlike seal fur, which has a natural fiber length of 1/2" to 3/4", this realistic seal fur substitute is cut into 3" strands, which makes for fantastic fly tying material for incredible streamer, predator, and saltwater fly patterns. SemperSeal comes in stunning colors and translucence that will activate life in almost any fly imaginable.
