Hareline Dubbin Kevlar Thread gives fly tiers the strength to lock down bulky materials on bass bugs, saltwater patterns, steelhead flies, salmon flies, and heavy streamers without fear of breakage. Many tiers rely on Kevlar fly tying thread when spinning deer and elk hair for hair bugs, since it grips tightly and compresses hair under high tension. This pre-waxed thread bites into materials for secure wraps and controlled stacking, and it carries enough strength that attempting to snap it by hand can cut your skin. Sized approximately 2/0 or “A” thread and packaged in a 50 yd. spool, it handles high-stress tying applications with confidence.
