Trusted by generations of saltwater anglers, the Penn Special Senator Star Drag Trolling Reel delivers the strength and dependability needed for chasing tuna, grouper, and other hard-pulling species on the troll. Its classic Bakelight sideplates are reinforced with stainless steel rings for added rigidity, while a machined and anodized aluminum spool offers smooth line release and excellent corrosion resistance. The marine-grade bronze main gear and stainless steel pinion provide lasting cranking power, ideal for offshore trolling or bottom fishing in deep structure.

A multi-disk star drag system delivers smooth, adjustable pressure during prolonged battles, and two shielded stainless steel ball bearings enhance overall gear function. The stainless steel reel stand provides a solid base, and the convertible power handle gives you options for comfort and torque. Finished with a heavy-duty clicker, this reel has the bite detection and durability seasoned anglers expect when targeting big fish offshore.
