Orvis Battenkill Click Reel carries a trusted click-and-pawl tradition into modern trout fishing with smoother feel and refined control when browns, rainbows, and brookies rip downstream runs. Tighter tolerances deliver quieter, more consistent operation in hand, while the audible, positive outgoing click keeps pressure honest without overpowering light tippets. A curved reelfoot prevents leader kinks during storage, and understated colorways pair cleanly with Superfine, Classic Bamboo, Helios, and Recon rods. Built from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with a standard-arbor, ported spool and an ergonomic Delrin handle, this modern classic balances reliability with thoughtful updates for today’s rivers.
