Control hard-charging salmon and steelhead with confidence using the Okuma Connoisseur B Salmon & Steelhead Casting Rod. Built on a two-piece 24-ton carbon blank with species-specific power and action, this rod delivers crisp responsiveness whether working plugs through a tailout or drifting bait along deep seams. The tip features Ultimate Flex Reinforcement (UFR) for added lifting strength and sensitivity, helping detect light takes and drive in clean hooksets. A tip-over-butt ferrule connection keeps the rod balanced and smooth under load, while the full-length neo-cork foregrip and rear grip offer a classic feel and a sure hold. Zirconium inserts housed in stainless steel guide frames handle braided and monofilament lines with minimal friction and excellent durability. The included stainless steel hook keeper provides a reliable storage point between runs. Whether targeting Chinook on large rivers or steelhead in pressured systems, this rod brings balanced power and reliable handling to any cast.
