I have been using this lure for many years. They used to be made in U.S.A. They are now made in China and Indonesia. The shape is for sure not the same and the prism tape is much shorter. The color looks more orange. Lucky for me I have some older lures I bought before Luhr Jensen sold to Rapala. I have absolutely seen a drop-off in production with these latest lures. I have fished them side by side in the boat to prove this to myself. Unless you put the lures side by side, you probably wouldn't notice. I noticed because I have MANY years of experience with this lure. I have no way to check the lure weight. I would like to know if anybody has. This shoud not reflect on FishUSA but on your procurement source.

I have been looking for a replacement of the one that I got over 10 years ago... all that I can say is when everyone else is saying it not the day and the bass are not hitting anything.... Well I got my little 'paper clip' out and show everyone that they are bitting and the big ones are out there too. I just last year pulled in my lakes New Record bass, this old size had been on the books for over 50 years....
