Decided to give these a shot since I wanted a variety in lightweight and colors. Though these may seem more expensive than other brands, they really are superior. I have bought 10# catfish on a 1/32 and it didn't bend or shake out. I use them in very rocky creeks and streams and the paint job holds. Hooks are sharp and don't bend out even after many snags.

I've been using Voodoo jigs heads for about the past 5 years to tie my own feather and hair jigs and there's no doubt they've helped me land more fish. They've stood the beating of reeling in 20# salmon from the Lower Niagara River (1/32oz) to the lightening fast strikes of 6" wild brook trout (1/64oz). I switched to these jigs after loosing some larger trout to hooks straightening out. Not an issue with Voodoo. The hooks are incredibly sharp and straight and stay that way. I have jigs in my box that I've been fishing for months. Even after countless snags. I've even been known to retie them after the feathers fall off. Also, the paint job is tough (within reason) and is better than any other jig heads that I've come across. I've also had great luck using them for smallies, although the hook gap is a little smaller than I'd like for bass so they can be trickier to keep on. But UV cure some eyes on and now you're really getting some extra credit!
