Lamson Guru S-Series Fly Reel gives trout, steelhead, and light salt anglers a dependable, modern reel that balances smooth drag control with reduced weight for long days on the water. This reel carries Lamson’s steadfast Guru heritage forward with open porting that trims mass and a curved cross-section that adds structural stability without bulk, making it noticeably lighter and more responsive than the previous generation. Machined aluminum construction pairs with Lamson’s proven Sealed Conical Drag System to deliver consistent pressure on fast runs, whether you’re protecting light tippet on spring creeks or leaning into strong fish on larger rivers. Clean lines and purposeful styling round out a reel that fits comfortably in technical trout fishing, swing-style steelhead setups, and all-around freshwater use.
