The Hardy Euro Averon Fly Reel is meticulously crafted to meet the demands of modern Euro nymphing and technical light-line river anglers. Its innovative design features a shallow, narrow-profile large-arbor spool that ensures rapid line pickup and precise line stacking, making it ideal for fine-diameter lines. Crafted with Hardy’s renowned fine-tolerance machining, the reel minimizes line slip, eliminates snagging, and optimizes performance with small-diameter lines. A full-cage frame further enhances line control, preventing line escape during critical moments. At its core, a secure, customizable weighting system lets you fine-tune the rod-and-reel balance to perfectly match your longer technical river rods. The Euro Averon pairs a silky-smooth enclosed multi-pad disc drag with ultra-low startup inertia to deliver flawless control. A two-and-a-half-turn indexed drag adjustment ensures quick, precise settings for on-the-fly adjustments. This reel comes equipped with three optional balance weights and offers unmatched versatility and refined performance for technical fishing.
