A KastKing Kestrel Elite BFS Baitcasting Reel effortlessly casts lightweight baits with weight-reducing materials and systems design that advances any angler's finesse fishing skills. The ultra-lightweight magnesium alloy frame helps make it the lightest BFS casting reel on the market, weighing only 4.4 ounces! The FAF (Flyout Arc Finesse) Braking system was explicitly designed for finesse fishing. A pair of half-ring magnetic brakes automatically adjust to prevent backlashes when slowing the Kestrel Elite BFS shallow feather spool.

That spool on the Kestrel Elite BFS (Bait Finesse System) baitcasting reel weighs only 5.6 grams! The smaller ultra-lightweight BFS shallow feather spool design expertly handles finesse fishing's smaller diameter lines, enabling anglers to cast lures weighing as little as 1/16 oz. farther with greater accuracy. There's no skimping on power, in case you're wondering. The main gear and shaft are hard anodized aluminum and connected to a brass pinion gear. To ensure durability, the handle and side plates are constructed from carbon, which helps to keep the weight low without compromising strength. If you count yourself as a serious finesse angler, the incredible qualities of KastKing's Kestrel Magnesium Frame BFS Casting Reel should catch your attention!
