The Hardy Averon Streamer Fly Reel gives streamer anglers the quick pickup, control, and classic Hardy feel needed for stripping big flies to trout, smallmouth, pike, and bass along banks, ledges, logjams, and current seams. Its enlarged arbor reduces line memory and increases line pickup, while the friction-free incoming retrieve helps gather slack fast after a hard strip, missed eat, or sudden downstream charge. Increased spool mass adds momentum and durability for aggressive streamer work, and the larger handle with counterbalance improves grip and control during fast retrieves and hard fights. Audible outgoing clicks deliver the unmistakable Hardy sound when a fish takes line, while the bead-blasted matte black anodized finish adds lasting durability and a clean, stealthy look.
