The Lamson Centerfire Fly Reel gives fly anglers fast line pickup, powerful drag control, and dependable performance when hard-running trout, steelhead, salmon, and bass put a reel to work. Its large arbor format helps recover line quickly when a fish changes direction, while the IPX8-certified waterproof Cobalt hybrid drag system combines a large-format drag cone, Carbon PEEK thrust washers, and custom self-lubricating O-ring seals for consistent operation around rivers, lakes, and other demanding fishing environments. A large, easy-grip drag knob and handle keep adjustments and retrieves comfortable when cold hands, wet conditions, or a strong fish make every movement count.

Lamson supports that drag system with a fixed spindle design and zero-lash stainless steel roller clutch for immediate engagement and controlled pressure throughout the fight. The locking spool nut keeps the spool secure, while an integrated counterbalance promotes smooth rotation. A Signature Power Arm frame and deep cross-section radial spool spokes add structural support without unnecessary complexity. Hard anodizing protects the exterior, and Lamson fully CNC machines the frame and spool for precise fit, alignment, and dependable performance trip after trip.
