Daiwa BG Spinning Reels offer dependable performance for both freshwater and saltwater anglers, featuring a Hard Bodyz aluminum body and side cover that adds strength without extra weight. The over-sized Digigear system increases gear-tooth contact for better torque and smoother retrieves, while the lightweight Air Rotor reduces rotational weight. Models 4000 and under include an infinite anti-reverse system for improved hooksets, and models 4500 and up feature a manual return bail for added control. From the braid-ready ABS spool to the waterproof Carbon ATD drag, each BG reel is built for reliability under heavy loads.
