To take on the beasts of the sea, you need a beast of a reel. You need the Daiwa BG MQ Big Game Spinning Reel! This reel is made with an aluminum body; while it is comfortably lightweight, it is also impressively rigid and robust. The aluminum body helps resist corrosion, keeping this reel performing its best season after season! Daiwa used a monocoque body style, which refers to the one-piece frame and body. This body style enhances the strength of the reel, giving it a rigid body and helping to make it water-resistant.

Daiwa created this reel to be more than just tough; it's built to work! The BG MQ Big Game Reel features their Advanced Tournament Drag system and their revolutionary DigiGear system. The DigiGear system is machine-cut gears that create a smooth, efficient design. The drag system offers consistent drag pressure, reducing any stop-and-go that can result in snapped lines. The Daiwa BG MQ Big Game Spinning Reel is the tough, durable reel you need to meet the harshest of saltwater conditions!
