Now my favorite fishing rod. The power of this rod blew me away. Casting into the wind with big baits and big weights was a “breeze!” When I can, I am getting another ine.

I just used the Okuma Solaris surf rod for pompano fishing. I was able to cast about 120 yards with 3 ounces of weight and 20 pound braid.
