Match the buggy sparkle and translucent profile of natural scuds and sowbugs with Wapsi Sow-Scud Dubbing, a glittery blend of opossum, Antron fiber, and Wapsi Super Brite dubbing that fly tiers rely on for crustacean and larva imitations. Dub it thin and tight for compact bodies on trout and steelhead scuds, then pick out guard hairs to tease legs and a lively halo that still shines in the drift. The same blend also plays well for midge and caddis larvae patterns when you want a rich color pop without losing that buggy texture, and it dubs easily with minimal material loss so you can stay efficient at the vise while filling boxes for tailwaters, spring creeks, and Great Lakes tribs.
