From first dry-fly casts on a trout stream to popping bugs for bluegill and pond bass, the Temple Fork Outfitters Bug Launcher Fly Rod & Reel Outfit gives beginning fly anglers a comfortable, complete setup for learning the fundamentals on the water. TFO constructs the rod from durable graphite to handle the bumps and mishaps that come with developing casting skills, while thinner-diameter compressed cork grips fit smaller hands and promote better control. An extended reel seat provides extra gripping space for two-handed casts when anglers need more leverage and stability. TFO matches the outfit with a properly sized reel, weight-forward floating fly line, backing, and leader, eliminating the hassle of assembling a first fly fishing combo piece by piece. The complete outfit fits inside an included rod and reel carrying case for convenient trips to ponds, creeks, trout streams, and family fishing destinations.
