The Cortland Guide Series Fly Outfit puts a balanced, ready-to-fish fly rod and reel combo in your hands so you can step into a trout stream with confidence and start casting immediately. A fast action, lightweight 4-piece graphite rod generates tight loops for accurate dry fly presentations, controlled mends, and roll casts along cut banks and pocket water. The large arbor aluminum reel comes pre-spooled with 150 yards of backing and a Cortland-designed two-color fly line featuring a welded loop for quick leader changes. A premium tapered leader arrives attached, streamlining rigging for targeting rainbow trout, brown trout, and brook trout on rivers, creeks, and stillwaters. The included rod and reel carrying case keeps your gear protected between trips and simplifies travel to local tailwaters or destination fisheries.
