Cubby Mini-Mite 2 Jigs shine when fish hug the bottom, and bites turn tough, making them a go-to for anglers targeting walleyes, crappies, trout, and bass in cold fronts, clear water, or pressured conditions. This 1/16 oz. jig excels with a slow, controlled bottom-bounce retrieve—lift, drop, pause, then repeat—to keep the bait in the strike zone longer. Tip the hook with a small grub or wax worm to add subtle profile and scent, especially when fish ignore faster presentations. From vertical jigging along breaklines to easing it through current seams and deep holes, this jig rewards patience and precision with consistent bites.
