The St. Croix Avid Series Casting Rod family has undergone a thrilling transformation with brand new, lighter, and stronger designs that utilize hybrid carbon fiber blanks made right here in America. The St. Croix Avid Casting Rod is cutting-edge. These freshwater rods combine the stiffness and lightness of SCVI carbon with the exceptional durability of St. Croix's signature SCIII material. The result is rods that are not only lighter but also more robust and durable. Additionally, St. Croix has gone the extra mile to improve ergonomics, making the overall feel and balance of these rods more comfortable and intuitive. With top-notch technologies like IPC, ART, TET, and FRS, the Avid Casting Rod is now better than ever.

If it's versatility you want, the Avid Series Casting Rods offer one- and two-piece options. Choices include medium to medium-heavy power rods, 7' lengths, and fast actions. The two-piece rod is ideal for travel and features a slim profile ferrule design that enhances flexibility. This design allows a two-piece rod to perform like a one-piece rod. The Avid Casting Rod can bring out the best of your fishing skills with this redesign for 2024!
