Spirit River UV2 Scud Shrimp gives fly tiers a UV-enhanced dubbing blend that matches one of trout’s most consistent food sources in rivers, spring creeks, and tailwaters. This material combines primary colors infused with UV fluorescent and UV reflective dyes, increasing visibility and realism beneath the surface. A touch of pearl blue Lite Brite adds subtle life and flash to scud, shrimp, and sowbug patterns, helping flies stand out in varying light conditions. When wrapped on curved scud hooks or built into nymph bodies, UV2 Scud Shrimp creates natural-looking profiles that trigger strikes from selective trout feeding near weed beds, gravel bottoms, and slow seams.
