When the wind stacks waves and rain hammers the deck, the Sitka Gear Cat-5 Fishing Jacket keeps anglers focused on setting lines, working drifts, and boating trophy salmon, walleye, tuna, or striped bass through brutal weather. This Iron Grey shell pairs a 3-layer GORE-TEX stretch fabric with a PFAS-free ePE laminate for waterproof, breathable protection that moves naturally while netting fish, running big water, or clearing rods. A fused magnetic center-front placket seals out driving spray with reduced bulk, shielding a quick-access magnetic chest pocket, while large water-resistant chest pockets with internal mesh dividers keep leaders, gloves, and electronics organized. Welded submersible cuffs, fused hem construction, and an adjustable half-drop storm hood block water from all angles, and thoughtful fishing-specific details like tool docking, net attachment, and kill switch integration support long days on the water without snagging or excess weight.
