Sitka Alpha Fleece Hooded Jacket gives anglers a dependable mid-layer for cold mornings on the river, windy boat runs, and long days chasing steelhead, salmon, trout, and late-season bass. The Bark Brown jacket uses durable 280-gram, 4-way stretch STORMFLEECE double weave fabric that moves easily while casting and scrambling along riprap or riverbanks, while a durable water repellent finish helps shed mist, spray, and passing showers. A low-bulk fitted hood maintains coverage without blocking peripheral vision when tracking drifts or netting fish, and seamless shoulder construction eliminates pressure points under wader straps or packs. Smartly placed zippered pockets keep tools, licenses, and electronics secure, with mesh-backed hand pockets that double as vents to manage heat during active hikes or aggressive retrieves.
